Rabbi Yosef Khakshoor is a certified specialized mohel. He received his Rabbinical Ordination from Ner Israel Rabbinical College of Baltimore, where he studied for 13 years. He also received a Masters of Talmudic Law from Ner Israel.
Rabbi Khakshoor was privileged to become a certified mohel by prestigious, world-renowned Chief Mohel of London, England, Rabbi S. G. Gluck. Rabbi Khakshoor performed numerous brit milas (ritual circumcision) under the tutelage of Rabbi Gluck. He also received training to perform brit mila from Rabbi A. Romi Cohn, prominent mohel and trainer. Rabbi Khakshoor served as an apprentice to Rabbi Gluck and Rabbi Cohn in different settings like homes, synagogues, restaurant halls, clinics, and doctor offices.
Rabbi Khakshoor is also a certified Sofer (scribe) and a Shochet (ritual slaughterer), licensed by a prominent Rov, Rabbi Moshe Heinemann of Baltimore, MD.
Using their warmth, commitment, knowledge, and energetic personalities, Rabbi Khakshoor and his wife have been involved in Jewish outreach and education in different communities throughout the US. Rabbi and Mrs. Khakshoor currently reside in Los Angeles, CA and are the proud parents of six children.
Rabbi Khakshoor will be available to travel anywhere in California and to remote areas in order to utilize his experience and professional expertise to perform your son’s Brit. His goal is to make the brit mila process a happy, smooth, and convenient experience for both the parents and the baby. Your infant’s care and comfort are the mohel’s primary concerns.
